SCORCHED EARTH

SCORCHED EARTH contains Prometon, a highly effective herbicide that is used to control annual and perennial broadleaf and grassy weeds. Prometon is absorbed by the leaves and the roots of the plant and is transported throughout the plant. Prometon inhibits photosynthesis, and the plant quickly dies. It remains in the soil and may inhibit plant growth for up to a year. SCORCHED EARTH non-selective herbicide is designed for bare-ground weed control around buildings, fence lines, foundations, cemeteries, rail lines, roadways, recreation areas, lumber yards, storage facilities and other areas for a total kill of vegetation. It is highly effective when diluted 1:10 with water or petroleum. For thicker vegetation, a dilution rate of 1:5 is recommended. * (EPA)
